For this weeks Restaurant Report Card, we serve up three different restaurants with two of them having critical violations.
Red Pepper on 19th Ave. N., was burned by not having their famous chip sauce cool enough before serving it. Management did not want to go on camera, but said they have fixed the problem by cooling their sauce in smaller containers. You can find their full report
Next, Samurai Japanese Cuisine was cited for not having their food marked with expiration dates. Management of the Cuisine said that they will not forget to mark their food in the future and that none of their products had been expired. Their full report can be found
After three clean health inspections, the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant is this weeks winner of the clean plate award. Keeping their kitchen in pristine condition and fresh vegetables every morning is this restaurants secret to passing a health inspection.
This isn't just when the health inspector comes around, worker Mike Chen said, "Somebody comes over and says, 'Wow your restaurant is always kept clean.' That is why everyday we do the same routine schedule."
