Red Fawn Fallis arrested for alleged pretrial release violations
Members of the U.S. Marshals Service’s High Plains Fugitive Task Force arrested Red Fawn Fallis Thursday evening.
Fallis was taken into custody without incident at Centre, Inc. in Fargo around 5:00 p.m. after a federal warrant was issued charging alleged violations of pretrial release.
The warrant was issued based on a petition filed by Fallis’ pretrial services officer late Thursday afternoon. The petition states “The defendant signed out of Centre Inc. at 8:05 this morning to attend her GED courses at the Adult Learning Center located at 1305 9th Ave South in Fargo, North Dakota."
At 2:24 p.m., Centre staff went to the Adult Learning Center and the defendant was not present. Centre staff asked the Adult Learning Center staff if the defendant was present on Thursday and were told that the defendant did not attend class.
Fallis’ actions allegedly violate a condition of her release which requires her to reside at Centre Inc. and to participate in the center’s programs and abide by its rules and regulations.
Fallis was taken to the Cass County Detention Center where she will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service until further order by the court.
Fallis was to stand trial Jan. 29. She is accused of firing a handgun three times at officers during her October 2016 arrest. No one was hurt.
She has a 2003 conviction in Colorado for being an accessory to a felony.
