Raging Red Band Festival at NDSU
Middle and high school bands from across the valley are at NDSU for the Raging Red Band Festival.
Bands were on campus all day Tuesday and will be there on Wednesday as well. The students not only get to play for judges, but also listen to other musicians their age perform different pieces of music.
"You get to meet other people like with anything else," Fargo South High Freshman Hannah Sweeney said. "It's a good experience."
"Hearing other bands and hearing what else is out there. Being inspired by other bands that sound great and just getting to experience to see and hear what other school programs are doing around the area," Sebastian Tackling, Fargo South High Band Director, said.
The festival is free to attend. It's taking place Wednesday, March 8th all day as well. If you're interested in checking it out, the bands will perform at NDSU's Reineke Fine Arts Center Auditorium. That's right across the street from Herd and Horns on 12th Ave. North.
