ORIGINAL STORY

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released a picture of the man wanted after a massive manhunt in the northern Valley.

The search for Daniel Michael Two Hearts had been focused on an area near Reynolds, ND but investigators say he may now be driving a stolen car.

They also say TwoHearts now has longer hair than pictured in the photo.

Investigators say the incident started about 9:30 p.m. Thursday night when a trooper tried to stop a pickup headed south on I-29 in Grand Forks. The driver took off and lead police on a chase that hit speeds of 100 mph.

Law enforcement used spikes to stop the truck near Hillsboro and that's when police say TwoHearts got out and fired three shots from a 9 mm handgun. Officers were not hit but he got away.

About an hour later while police were looking for TwoHearts, he allegedly stole a vehicle in Hillsboro with a baby in it.

Officers tracked it to County Road 81 east of Reynolds and once again used spikes to blow out the tires. TwoHearts again ran off but police were able to rescue the baby who was not hurt.

Police say sometime between 11:30 Thursday night and 6:30 Friday morning TwoHearts stole an additional vehicle, a silver 2005 Ford Taurus bearing North Dakota plates 679 AOF.

If you spot him or see anything suspicious you are asked to call 911, do not to approach him because he's considered armed and dangerous
