A pilot walked away with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday night just west of Detroit Lakes.
Authorities tell us that a plane went down north of Detroit Lakes, and when they arrived, 76-year-old Theodore Kiebke told them he lost power to his single-engine biplane and landed in a cornfield. After going into the cornfield, the plane flipped onto its top.
Kiebke was the sole occupant in the plane and was transported to Essentia-St. Mary's with non-life threatening injuries.
This crash still remains under investigation.
