UPDATE: Parts of UND evacuated after construction crews hit gas line

UPDATE: The Grand Forks Fire Department says the gas line has been clamped and is no longer leaking.

Multiple halls at the University of North Dakota were evacuated after construction crews hit a gas line.
Construction crews are rebuilding University Ave. and an excavator hit a gas line, causing the leak. The leak is in the area around University Ave. and Princeton.
Excel Energy, Grand Forks fire and police are all on scene.
workers are now trying to get the leak under control, but as of 11:20 Tuesday morning, gas was still coming from the line.
Authorities are urging people to stay away from that area while they work on fixing it.
No injuries have been reported.
