North Dakota woman dies in car crash

North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 57 year old woman from Belfield, ND was killed in a crash that happened Thursday morning.

Highway Patrol says the woman was driving her Yukon towards Dickinson when she lost control of her vehicle on the slippery roads and hit a Ford F250 driven by a 24 year old man from Dickinson.

Both vehicles had extensive damage. The female driver died at the scene of the crash. The male driver was taken by ambulance to St. Alexius ER and was later released.

The crash is still under investigation.
