Update: No Travel Advisory expanded to central & southeast North Dakota

(Valley News Live) - (Update 5:30 p.m.) - Both the eastbound and westbound lanes on interstate 94 from Bismarck to Fargo are closed, according to a media release sent by the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

A No Travel Advisory alert has also been issued to include parts of southeast North Dakota, including Fargo, Casselton, and surrounding areas.

This is due to the icy road conditions.

(Original) A No Travel Advised alert has been issued across north and south-central North Dakota due to hazardous road conditions, including icy roads and reduced visibility.

The alert includes areas like Stutsman County, Barnes County, Grand Forks County, and Ramsey County.

In the southeast portion of the state, the North Dakota Department of Tranportation map shows roads from Valley City to West Fargo are covered in snow, and the metro area roads including Fargo is still wet and slushy.
