New restaurant opens its doors in Moorhead

IDK is a new fine dining and casual lunch restaurant serving everything from lamb chops to swordfish.
“Something different; everyone is looking for a different experience, a different taste” says executive chef Cheryl Nordeen.
Those unique dishes and extra flair are what restaurant owner David Hoffman hope will keep people eating out on the Minnesota side of the border instead of taking their business to Fargo.
“Moorhead's been wanting more restaurants and more fine dining places and we just happened to stumble across this place. We fell in love with the building and we wanted” says Hoffman.
After David and everyone else involved in the project found the location, they got to work renovating and fixing up the place to make it a somewhere warm and welcoming.
They also credit their employees with making this dream restaurant of theirs a reality.
“There were so many little facets that we did and it was just amazing to see the transformation” says Nordeen.
“I don’t think that we could have a better crew. They came out of the woodwork. We didn’t think that we’d have this much of a reaction, but I think it was just meant to be.”
Some good workers and unique pallets that they hope will put them a cut above the rest.
The restaurant is located at 28 4th St N and its hours are Monday - Friday 11am to 2pm for lunch, 4pm to 9pm for dinners Monday-Thursday, and 4pm to 10pm Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.
