ND man dies after being hit by vehicle

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says on Monday night, 77 year old Thomas Miller was walking on Main Street in Towner, ND when he was hit by a vehicle and later died.

Highway Patrol says 60 year old William St. Clair of Parshall, ND was driving when something fell off his passenger seat. St. Clair reportedly reached over to pick the item up, but in the process swerved and hit Miller with his truck.
