The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a crash between a semi-truck and a snowplow.

It all happened around 8:15 A.M. Sunday on I-94, just 3 miles south of Herbon. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound on I-94. Terry Price, 44, was actively plowing in the left lane traveling 15 MPH. Trivge Hagen, 45, came up behind the plow and lost sight of the plow because of the snow fog.

Hagen moved into the left lane to pass the snow plow. Hagen then noticed that the plow was in the left lane and he attempted to pass the plow on the median shoulder. Hagen struck the left rear of the plow and drove into the median where his vehicle came to rest facing eastbound.

Price drove the plow to the right shoulder after the crash. All occupants were wearing their seat belts and no one was injured in the crash. Hagen was cited for careless driving. This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
