Update: Power restored in south Fargo

Power was restored Saturday afternoon to south Fargo customers of Xcel Energy.

(Original) - At least 1,371 people living in Fargo have been without power since 5:31 a.m. Saturday, according to Xcel Energy.
The outage is impacting Xcel Energy customer around the area of University Dr. S and Main Ave.
A resident told us they heard a loud explosion and a pole holding a transformer had caught on fire.
The company expects power to return by 1:45 p.m.
