Moorhead Sam's Club to close end of January

A staff member told Valley News Live that Sam's Club in Moorhead is set to close the end of January. A note posted to their front door today says, "Sam's Club is CLOSED today. We regret any inconvenience. We will reopen tomorrow at 10 AM." Customers are still able to take care of their pharmacy needs, however.
Moorhead City Manager Chris Volkers says the company informed the city of its closing on January 11th. Volkers says the entire facility will close on January 26th and that all employees ere notified on the 11th.
Volkers also says 168 employees will be "separated from employment."
Hundreds other stores across the country are set to close as well.
