GLYNDON, Minn. (Valley News Live) All this week, about a dozen teachers for the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton school district have been protesting for a new teacher contract.

They've been meeting before the bell rings in front of the high school in Glyndon.

There's currently an impasse between the school board and the teachers regarding pay.

The president of the teacher's union, Anthony Soderberg, said they feel the district isn't working to unify the groups.

“We are interested in recruiting and keeping quality educators, and to do that we need to be competitive within the market that we're in,” Soderberg, a DGF math teacher, said.

The teachers plan to be out there again Friday at 7:30 a.m.
