Mandan Police officer fired after arrest

Bismarck Police report the arrest of Zachary Brown, 29, a Mandan police officer at the time of his arrest.
According to a press release, Brown allegedly broke into his former girlfriend's garage door on Saturday morning.
Authorities say because Brown is a Mandan resident, Bismarck Police contacted the Mandan Police Department who arrested him Saturday afternoon.
In another press release, Mandan Police say Brown has been fired.
