Man killed when struck by train in western North Dakota

EPPING, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- A 65-year-old Epping man who was trying to dislodge his motorcycle from railroad tracks was struck and killed by a locomotive in western North Dakota on Saturday night.

Paul L. Sagaser was riding westbound on Williams County 8 approximately two miles east of Epping when he attempted to cross train tracks and crashed.

His motorcycle became stuck in the tracks as a train approached.

The man and the motorcycle were stuck by the train. The identity of the man, who died on the scene, was not released.

Epping is about 20 miles northeast of Williston.
