Man hit by car, driver arrested for DUI

Grand Forks, N.D. (Valley news Live) One man is waking up in jail for DUI and other charges after police say he hit another man with his car.

Grand Forks Police say this happened in a parking lot at 700 1st Ave. N. around 2 Thursday morning.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who said he was hit by a car.

The victim was then taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries to his leg.

Eventually, Grand Forks County Sheriff's Deputies were able to find the suspect's car and then arrested 36-year-old Frederick Graden of Mekinock, ND for DUI.

Graden is now also charged with Reckless Endangerment and Leaving the Scene of an Accident involving Injury.
