A Michigan man at the center of case of a sexual assault against a 15-year-old girl in his semi-truck is set to head to trial.

34-year-old Kenneth George Zehnder is charged with one felony count of Criminal Sex Conduct.

In August, Zehnder was the suspect in a pursuit that ended on I-94 near Downer, Minn.

Court documents say Otter Tail County officials received a text from the 15-year-old just before 10:30 on August 21, saying Zehnder sexually assaulted her inside a semi at a truck stop in Stearns County.

The victim said Zehnder continued driving after the sexual assault, and a few hours later, the victim texted 911.

The victim went on to tell investigators that she and Zehnder had been travelling together in the semi over the last week and that additional sexual assaults occurred at various locations.

Court records indicate Zehnder's trial begins Dec. 10 and ends Dec. 12. If convicted, he could spend the next 30 years in prison.
