The new bill, SF 5025, would allow districts to defer those mandates for up to 3 years. Instead of enacting new mandates and curricula immediately, proponents of the new bill say it would allow them to do so over time. Training and overtime pay could be split over the span of several years, as opposed to one single school year.
The vehicles were awarded to the SAGE Development Authority, Sitting Bull College, Standing Rock Public Transit and some tribal casinos for transportation.
