Local community gets crafty at downtown library event

FARGO, N.D. ( Valley News live ) - The Downtown Public Library overflowed with glitter, glue and construction paper Monday evening for the Full Moon Craft Fest.

Library staff had different stations set up by age group that had different projects and crafts that could be made..

From beading bracelets, construction paper arts and crafts and even vegetable painting and more, all themed around the different stages of the moon..

Rachelle Gilbert, a mother from Hawley M.N. said its a great to have activities like this for all ages.

“The younger ones are working on the vegetable painting and the older ones are working on the tee shirt paintings. I Love that they have the different activities for the kids with the different features and that they're free and open to different age groups," said Gilbert.

The event was free and open to the public.
