Local Fargo boy gets a superstar surprise from NFL team

One local Fargo boy got quite the surprise in the mail on Monday… all the way from the east coast.

Emmerich Netland is a die-hard Patriots fan. Earlier this month, he decided to send Tom Brady, his favorite player on the team, a 40th birthday card and picture.

Fast forward to Monday, and Emmerich got a package full of Patriots swag including a pennant, stickers, team photos, coloring pages and, a letter from Brady and the Patriots organization.

"I kind of wanted to prove to him that I was his biggest fan," Emmerich grinned.
