Lisbon Police are warning of counterfeit $100 bills in the Lisbon and Enderlin areas.

In their Facebook post, Lisbon Police say:

'It is hard to see a difference between the real and fake ones until you hold it up to a light. The president’s face, which is supposed to appear on the right side of the bill, is missing along with the security strip. The Serial #’s are only changed by one of the letters and the 1st number.'

Police say the recent fake bill are passing the counterfeit marker test.

They say if you come across a counterfeit, to turn it in to them or bring it to your bank.
