Jamestown, N.D. (newsdakota.com) A Montpelier man has plead guilty to shooting his ex-wife in May as she sat in a car in a Jamestown apartment parking lot.
27 year-old Kevin Michael Hoff entered the plea in front of Southeast District Judge Troy LeFevre. He has been charged with Class AA murder in the death of 25 year-old Nicole Gututala. The preliminary had originally been delayed after Hoff's attorney Russell Myhre requested continuance in what he called Hoff's lack of capacity to understand proceedings.
According to police, Hoff shot and killed Nicole after on May 12th. He could face up to life in prison.
