Jamestown man arrested after late night pursuit

Police in Jamestown arrested a 19 year old man, who led police on a chase through the city on Tuesday Night.

Christian Moore was stopped by police around 9:30 last night, but he did not stop the vehicle immediately.

Moore did eventually stop the vehicle in Southwest Jamestown before leaving the car and running from police on foot.

After a brief chase on foot, Moore was apprehended without further incident.

One officer did receive a minor injury in the pursuit but was medically cleared.

The suspect is now being charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving with a suspended license, failure to halt, fleeing in a Motor Vehicle, and reckless driving.

He was transported to Stutsman County Corrections to await formal charges.
