Injured veteran group gets donations for wildlife hunts

DICKINSON, N.D. (KFYR) The Injured Military Wildlife Project of North Dakota takes injured vets and gives them the chance to hunt. Now Conoco Phillips is making a donation to keep the hunts going.

The company made a $2,500 donation to the group in Dickinson. All of the proceeds go to the hunts. Since 2009, the group has had 50 successful hunts.

“It secures the future of the injured military wildlife project of North Dakota to continue to provide quality outdoor adventures to our veterans and appreciation to their service to our country,” said group President Roger Kadrmas.

The organization still has spots open for their upcoming hunts. For more information, you can go to imwpnd.com.
