I-29 Opened from Fargo to South Dakota border

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live)-- The North Dakota Department of Transportation along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol have opened I-29 northbound and southbound lanes from Fargo to South Dakota.

They have also opened ND HWY 13 eastbound and westbound lanes from I-29 to Wahpeton.

A no travel advisory remains in effect due to strong winds causing blowing and drifting snow, areas of zero visibility and hazardous driving conditions.

At times, there may be areas where I-29 is reduced to a single lane.

I-29 remains closed northbound and southbound lanes from Grand Forks to Fargo.

I-94 remains closed westbound and eastbound lanes from Bismarck to Fargo.

A no travel advised remains in effect for eastern North Dakota. Cities include Jamestown, Valley City, Devils Lake, Fargo, Wahpeton, Grand Forks and surrounding areas.
