Hunter found dead in field in rural Minnesota

A Grand Forks man was found dead in a field near Fertile, MN.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded Tuesday night to 11524 390th St SE in rural Fertile for a report of a body found in a field.

The deceased male was identified as Timothy Leon Burhow, 66, of Grand Forks, ND.

Timothy Berhow was hunting on the property and a friend located him in the field when he was there to check on Timothy.

Deputies responded and investigated the scene.

Timothy’s body was later transported by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to the UND Forensic Medical Examiner for an autopsy.

Police say foul play is not suspected in regards to the death.

Other responding agencies include the Polk County EMS and Fertile Fire Department.
