Two loaded guns found at North Dakota airports

MINOT, N.D. (KFYR) A TSA spokesperson says agents found two loaded firearms in carry-on luggage in North Dakota in the past week.

An agent at the Minot International Airport found a 9 MM Ruger loaded with six rounds on Friday.

Wednesday, the TSA found a Smith & Wesson M&P Body Guard loaded with five rounds plus another in the chamber at the Bismarck Airport.

Agents confiscated the weapons and the passengers face more than $10,000 fines.

Travelers must always check firearms and look-alikes and declare them at the airport before flying. ​
