Grand Forks man charged with Medicaid fraud

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Charges have been filed against a man accusing him of defrauding Medicaid.

James Ray Fountain, 51, of Grand Forks failed to mention he had two jobs during a five month period in 2017, according to court documents.

Fountain reportedly received more than $19,000 in Medicaid expansion premiums, money, authorities said, he wasn't entitled to getting.

Fountain faces charges of making false statements and theft by deception, according to court documents.
