Grand Forks Fire Department respond to car fire

At approximately 12:37 PM on Wednesday, the Grand Forks Fire Department responded to 750 South 43rd Street for a vehicle fire that was near a structure.

First arriving fire engine crews found a 2000 Buick Regal with smoke and a small amount of fire in the engine compartment. It was determined that no structures were in any danger. Crews extinguished the fire.

The vehicle involved had substantial fire damage in the engine compartment. Cause of fire is under investigation.
