MINNEAPOLIS (KARE) Country megastar Garth Brooks is coming back to the Twin Cities.

Brooks confirmed Wednesday that he will be playing U.S. Bank Stadium May 4 as part of his big 2019 stadium tour.

The show will be in-the-round, with a stage similar to the one he used in his big show last weekend at the University of Notre Dame.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. via or by calling Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000.

There will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on December 14th. Each seat will cost $75.77 plus a $2.70 facility fee, a service charge of $7.25 and a $9.23 tax for a total of $94.95.

Brooks is touring on the heels of his new release 'The Anthology Part III, LIVE.' It's a detailed, insiders look at the high-energy concerts of the country music veteran, and includes the new live album, TRIPLE LIVE.

A winner of the CMA Entertainer of the Year a record six times, Brooks is also the first artist in history to receive 7 Diamond awards for the now seven albums certified by the RIAA at over 10 million album sales each. He remains the top selling solo artist in U.S. history with over 148 million album sales, a mark certified by the RIAA .
