FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) A garage appears to be destroyed after an early morning fire Thursday in north Fargo.

Firefighters got a call to 2206 10th Street North just before 2 a.m. and found the garage fully engulfed in flames. Crews had to dig out a fire hydrant from under deep snow to get access to water to fight the fire.

Fire crews tell Valley News Live that there's smoke damage inside the home, but everyone who was inside is safe, including pets.

Investigators are still looking for the cause of the fire.
