Former UND professor accused of having romantic relationships with students signs settlement

GRAND FORKS, N.D. A University of North Dakota professor signed settlement agreements with the North Dakota Board of Social Work following a complaint filed against him, accusing him of having a romantic relationship with a student.

Andrew Quinn was a social work professor at UND.

Complaints filed against him say he was having relationships with two students.

The most recent complaint that was submitted last year says Quinn violated a no contact order filed by UND.

Tuesday the board said Quinn signed a settlement agreement Monday night that was offered to him in May.

That agreement was to have his social work license revoked instead of suspended.

The board says a revoked license does not have a waiting period before someone can re-apply.

Which means Quinn could apply for his social work license anytime.

Four other complaints were filed and heard Tuesday, however the board went into executive discussion to discuss those.
