Flooding in Grand Forks closes parts of Interstate 29

Parts of Interstate 29 in Grand Forks between Exit 141 and Exit 145 are closed because of flooding, according to North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Most of Grand Forks is dealing with flooded streets after heavy rains battered the area.

NDHP has some alternative routes for those needing to travel around the city:

- Northbound traffic should use Exit 141, then Gateway Drive east to North Washington Street, then North Washington Street north to Interstate 29.

- Southbound traffic should use Exit 145, then North Washington Street south to Gateway Drive, then Gateway Drive west to Interstate 29.
