FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live)- Golfers in the F-M area now have a new spot to practice their putts and chips at the Edgewood Golf Course.
The Fargo Park District opened two new practice greens in honor of longtime Fargo Judge Rodney Webb. Webb's grandchildren hit the ceremonial first putts and they didn't have a hard time making it in the hole. Rodney died 10 years ago and his son, Judge Wade Webb says his dad would have loved this new park.
"This is a great way for so many folks to get together and remember him. This is a place for young and old to come and play golf, practice golf, ride bikes and walk. A place where my parents did it for decades. So it’s a real blessing, a way to remember Dad,” says Judge Rodney Webb’s son, Wade Webb.
The first green includes a bunker and the second green is larger and has various slopes to put your distance to the test.
