Fargo Air Museum adds historic tug to collection
The Fargo Air Museum added another historic piece to their collection.
The tug, a 1944 model tractor, is now on display at the museum.
A man from Dickey, North Dakota, bought the piece and resorted it so it's fully functioning.
The model was stationed at the Atlantic City Naval Air Station in New Jersey and is the only World War II surviving tug.
"I’ve never seen one of these particular tractors anywhere around and I had the opportunity to buy it and I was told it would be an interesting piece, but sitting out at our farm it's kind of a waste so we decided to donate it here to the museum," Tim Leppert said.
The Fargo Air Museum says the tractor will not just be on display, it will be used to help move air planes for special events.
