HENNING, Minn. (Valley News Live) -- The family of a man found dead near railroad tracks is mourning the loss of "a son, big brother, animal lover and 2016 graduate of the Army."
Authorities found the body of Jordan Bolgrean around 12:30 p.m. Friday near the Canadian Pacific Railroad tracks in Henning.
Rebecca Johnson, the victim's aunt and family spokeswoman, said in a statement that Bolgrean had a big heart and big dreams. But he also was battling drug addiction.
The family statement added: "Our hope is that other families impacted by drug addiction will take immediate action -- get support from therapists and addiction professionals and have a potentially life-saving conversation."
Bolgrean leaves behind his parents, Jessica and Justin Bolgrean, and two younger brothers, 16-year-old Jocoby and 9-year-old Jonah.
The Medical Examiner's Office in the city of Ramsey in Anoka County will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
