Valley News Live obtained exclusive video of the 2018 deadly drive-by shooting at a Fargo McDonald's.

Miguel Jay Cooley Sr., 45, was sentenced Monday to serve at least 35 years in prison for the murder.

In September of 2018, Cooley gunned down 20-year-old Gabriel Perez at around 5:30 a.m.

The surveillance video showed Perez with his skateboard standing by the McDonald's drive-thru along Main Ave.

A few seconds later, an SUV is seen flying down the road and turning into the drive-thru.

Cooley is then seen on the driver side window holding a gun and firing several shots.

We're deciding not to show the actual shooting since it is too graphic and out of respect for the family.

Minutes later emergency responders start arriving on scene and Perez was then pronounced dead.

Cooley pleaded guilty in August of 2019 to intentional murder and is locked up in prison.

He was sentenced to 50 years in prison, yet he'll only serve 35 years and then 10 years on probation with good behavior.
