Driver strikes garage in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, ND (Valley News Live) - Grand Forks Fire Department responded to the call of a car hitting a garage Saturday afternoon.

Around 12:30 pm, officials headed to 1704 Oak St.

Upon arrival, the Grand Forks Fire Department found a detached garage at an apartment complex. A car with nobody inside was found sticking out of the back wall.

The driver was found inside the apartment. They were assessed on scene.

Officials say about 16 feet of the garage wall was damaged. Fire crews placed shoring across the rear wall and removed the car from the
structure.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
