30 cats found in a minivan in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) A woman was cited after Fargo police officers say they found dozens of cats and kittens in her mini-van in downtown Fargo.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon on 417 NP Avenue and the van wasn’t running during the summer heat, according to the Fargo Police Department.

Nearly 30 cats were removed and taken to an area animal shelter.

Officers said the woman was cited for unattended animals in a car.
