LITTLETON, Colo. (KKTV)- Several Colorado school districts, including Columbine High School, were placed on lockout Tuesday due to an apparent "credible threat," according to authorities.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office shared pictures of a female suspect who reportedly made threats in the Denver metropolitan area prompting the lockouts. Sol Pais, 18, is described as white, about 5-foot-five and has brown hair. Originally authorities were reporting she was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants and black boots in the foothills of Jefferson County on Tuesday. Later in the day the sheriff's office clarified she was last seen in Colorado Monday night.
According to the FBI, she is "infatuated" with the Columbine school shooting. She is attempting to purchase guns and is considered armed and dangerous.
Douglas County School Districts went on secure perimeter-lockout.
If you have any information on the suspect's location you're asked to call the FBI tip line at (303) 630-6227.
The lockout comes just days ahead of the 20th anniversary of the 1999 Columbine mass shooting.
