Dilworth Police are investigating a body that was found outside Walmart

Dilworth Police Chief Ty Sharpe tells Valley News Live that the department is investigating a case in which a deceased male was found in a vehicle outside of Walmart.

Chief Sharpe says on Wednesday morning, Walmart called a towing company to remove a vehicle that had been parked in the parking lot for a couple of days. When the towing company arrived, they found the body in the back seat under a blanket. Sharpe says it appears the man had been sleeping in the car and had been there for a couple of days.

Right now there are no signs of foul play and the identity of the man is being withheld pending notification to the family.
