Deputies save man trapped in Minnesota grain bin

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) Otter Tail County deputies saved a man trapped inside a grain bin on Tuesday.

The man was clearing out a clog in the mixer not realizing that there was still feed inside. He tripped the sensor, which then dumped feed on him, according to the Otter Tail County’s Facebook page.

He was covered for a short period of time until the feed drained uncovering his head, yet still trapping him.

Pelican Rapids and Rothsay fire departments helped freed him, according to the sheriff’s office.

It happened in rural Pelican Rapids at around 1 p.m.

He suffered no injuries and medical attention wasn’t needed, according to authorities.
