Custom Express car wash coming to south Fargo

Construction of a state-of-the-art car wash has started in the Brandt Crossing development in south Fargo.

Sarah Griesbach with Property Resources Group says that Custom Express Car Wash will provide a technologically advanced cleaning system, minimal wait times and a beautiful structure to compliment nearby businesses.

The specialized equipment, acquired from Tommy Car Wash Systems, will accommodate washing 150 cars per hour.

“It will be a nice addition to Fargo,” Jason Gehrig, Custom Express Car Wash owner, stated. “It won’t be a tunnel but rather a house of glass. Tommy Car Wash Systems build great car wash equipment.”

In 2001, Tommy Car Wash Systems developed and patented a unique round arch design. This design excels in both form and function, offering a more spacious feel for the customer, better and more accurate surface cleaning from the arch’s circumference, and an iconic look.

The 30-inch Tommy Transporter TM Dual Belt Conveyor system replaces old chain and roller systems and is safer, easier to use, and easier to care for. The conveyor catches and guides all four tires simultaneously, controlling each car and makes loading easy and comfortable for users.

“People are used to having their car wiped by hand, which can leave scratches, and they are not used to the quality we will offer,” Gehrig said.

When construction concludes, Custom Express Car Wash will be open seven days a week.

“This is going to be for everyone, from the parent who wants to save time by keeping their children buckled as they all coast through the wash to the business professional who doesn’t have time to stand in line,” Gehrig explained.
