Crews deal with car fire outside West Acres Mall

Emergency crews responded to a fire inside of a car outside of West Acres Tuesday afternoon.

Around 3:30pm a call came in about a car on fire in the West acres parking lot.

When police arrived on scene they noticed a fire coming from the console inside the vehicle.

Officers were able to put on the fire quickly with a fire extinguisher.

No one was hurt.

The Fargo Fire Department says the cause of the fire appears to be some sort of an electrical issue, and does not appear to be suspicious.
