Over $700,000 worth of electronics seized at Canada, Minnesota border

Officials with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in International Falls seized around $715,000 worth of counterfeit electronics inside rail containers headed towards Ranier, Minn. last month.

Inside, the containers had 50 amplifiers, 662 cartons of earbuds and cables, and 57 cartons of sandwich boards and touch lamina. All three containers were found to contain counterfeit merchandise protected by copyright laws.
