Coon Rapids-Andover loses to South Riding (Va.) in Little League World Series

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (KARE) — The Coon Rapids-Andover (Midwest) little league baseball team lost 11-0 to South Riding, Virginia (Southeast) in their second game of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

The South Riding team threw its second consecutive no-hitter.

The Little League World Series is a double-elimination tournament so Coon Rapids-Andover gets another swing at it on Monday, 7 p.m. versus Louisiana.

In the first game, Coon Rapids-Andover beat Bowling Green, Kentucky, 2-1, on Friday.
