One three-year-old child was unresponsive after a vehicle rear-ended a snowplow Tuesday morning in Wadena County.
The crash happened just before 11am on County Road 23, near the intersection of 380th street.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2017 Toyota Camry unoccupied. The male driver and unresponsive three-year-old child were sitting in another vehicle waiting for medical personnel.
The driver of the car stated that he had not seen the snow plow before the collision. Both drivers and the child were wearing their seat belts.
The driver of the car, and the child were taken to St. Joseph’s hospital in Park Rapids. The child was responsive by the time the ambulance left the crash scene. The snowplow driver was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
