Car crashes into building, multiple injured

Multiple people are injured after a vehicle crashed into Bubble Laundry Company in Grand Forks.

Just after 5pm, Grand Forks police were called to the 1400 block of 12th Ave. S. for a report of one vehicle that crashed into Bubble Laundry Company.

Multiple people were reported inside the building with several injuries.
Upon arrival officers located a black 2007 Dodge Durango driven by 37 year old Grand Forks resident Aurelie Mokambe resting inside the business.

A woman and her young son, who were sitting next to the window the vehicle crashed through, and they suffered minor injuries.

They were treated on scene and released. No other injuries were reported. The building suffered significant damage.

Mokambe was cited for care required and unqualified operator. Speed or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash.
