Car bursts into flames, fire department investigating

A car appears to be destroyed after it caught on fire Saturday afternoon in Fargo.

It happened on 32nd Ave. S just before 2. A witness on the scene tells us, the driver and passenger made it out of the vehicle and went to the Jiffy Lube across the street to call 911.

She says, the car smoldered for a bit and then burst into flames. Crews quickly put the fire out and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
